Our first day/night home

Monday Jan 19,2009 we all got to come home from the hospital as one big family. Riley was 4 lbs 8.8 ounces at discharge. We don't live but 3 min from the hospital but Riley seemed to like the car ride. We got home and showed her, her room and let her sleep in her bassinet that my papa made for me. We all ate lunch together and then took a much needed nap. That night we had a little birthday party for my mom. Riley was wonderful! Then the night came...... Riley decided she did not want to go to sleep until 4 a.m. and needless to say Matt and I were exhausted. We could not figure out what she wanted, all we knew was that she wanted to sleep being held and not in her bed. It was a LONG first night!!!!!!
